50/50 Raffle Winter 2022

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    BC Gaming Event Licence #137006

    1 for $20.00; 1000 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $10,000.00.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: December 15, 2022 at 12:00:00 a.m. PST

    Draw
    50/50 draw: December 15, 2022 at 12:30:00 p.m. PST

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at #104 9250 Trustee Rd Port Hardy BC

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All members of the public are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://rotaryclubofporthardy.rafflenexus.com/winners on December 15, 2022.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Rotary Club of Port Hardy.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Port Hardy or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Rotary Club of Port Hardy does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: ian1hill@yahoo.ca. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Delay in Draw

    Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

  8. 8. Other

    Please email our team at ian1hill@yahoo.ca should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Cause

The Rotary Club of Port Hardy is using the proceeds from this 50/50 draw to make improvements to the playground at Carrot Park. We plan on replacing some aged equipment with some more modern items, and also expand the play area slightly. Pictured are some of the new pieces we are looking at. With your help we can bring this plan to fruition and make the Carrot Park playground even more fun for our children and our visitors from around the globe. Thank you in advance for your support!
